Preparing for your arrival
Your study permit will not be issued until you arrive in Canada and report to border services. To make sure your journey to Canada and your arrival go as smoothly as possible, you must make sure that these conditions have been met:
You must have received your letter of introduction for the study permit;
You must have a valid passport;
You must have obtained the Canadian travel authorization document that corresponds to your situation: eTA or TRV;
You must time your arrival to the start of the planned admission term indicated in the admission letter from your educational institution;
When you go through border services, make sure you have the documents you need to obtain a study permit.
